This Spring Semester of 2020 at Dawson Community College I’ll be teaching the Microsoft Excel class. It’s 3 credits all about Excel! Ok, I admit that’s my idea of FUN!
Excel is amazing software. It’s easy to get started with and you can learn new things it can do for you indefinitely! I still remember the first time I saw Excel 1.0. It was only available on Macs back then. I instantly knew this software would make my life better. That was 1985 or so. I was right; although I admit to not envisioning most of the advanced features we have at our fingertips today!
This software can make everyday tasks easier and it can make information more useful. If you need data separated, summarized, calculated, charted . . . this is the best way to do it.
Numbers and Math and Formulas and Charts and Tables, Oh My!
This is an intermediate class. We’ll start at the beginning but we’ll go through the first steps quickly.
We’ll meet Mondays from noon to 1:45 pm and then the remaining 45 minutes or so we’ll do online. I’m hoping more people can make it since you’ll have just the one trip to town/campus.
If you are an existing DCC student, just reach out to your adviser or the main office to get enrolled. If you are not currently a DCC student, call the office at 406.377.9400 and they will help you out.
